I have decided on the time period, as well as the new "system" backbone of clans. It's a pretty simple system that I think most beginning (and advanced) players can utilize to the best of their ablities. It's called the "Draft" System.. and while I don't have the link to their website (gerf) I do know I have their documents! >.< I will be putting up my adjustments, as well as the system in the next few days on the website companion to this site.
Best yet it appears that there's a real interest in doing the climatic end to this game at another cabin up in the mountians. Loosely scheduled for next spring or summer- I'll work it in around everyones schedules so as many people as possible can come, but seriously start saving up now!

We're still recruiting, and all elements are still open for claimming! There's a max (currently) of four per core element (fire, air, water, earth) three for the shealth elements (Light, Technology, Sound and Weather) and two for Shadow, blood, time and world walkers. Those "limits" may change as we get into the game.
Players can play one main character and two minor characters if they wish. The minor characters 'can not' take or train to become masters. If a minor character is fallen in love with they can become the "major" character... This is to give a back up should the worst happen and someone 'die' on the weekend cabin trip.. there will be a back up character to fall back into. (Also good for when threads stagnant on the boards!)
